The second ECI International Eco-village Innovation Forum was held on Nov 17 in Yucun village, Anji county, Huzhou.

The forum brought together representatives from Europe, BRICS countries, and countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as domestic experts and scholars, to exchange international experiences in the innovative development of eco-villages and to launch a global initiative for rural ecological civilization.

Meanwhile, the 2023 Yucun Dream Gala was launched, marking the release of the 2.0 version of the Yucun global partnership mechanism. During the event, several partner projects were initiated and strategic cooperation agreements were signed between Yucun and various universities. Additionally, the preparatory work for the Global Village Heads Forum was announced, indicating Yucun's plans to invite global village chiefs to discuss modern rural development and contribute to the construction of a global rural ecological civilization.

In conjunction with the forum and gala, Zhejiang University unveiled the 2023 "Two Mountains" Development Index. This index serves as a valuable guide for the country's green development, which is being achieved by adhering to the principle that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets".

Anji has ranked first among the nation's top 100 counties in the index score for five consecutive years.
