North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region recently got approval for its first pilot application project that focuses on national smart manufacturing standards.

The announcement was jointly made by the National Standardization Administration and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Jan 17.

The approved Inner Mongolia project deals with smart factory standards for veterinary biological vaccines.

The application for this project was led by Spirit Jinyu Biological Pharmaceutical Co.

The company is mainly engaged in the research and development, production, and sales of veterinary biological products.

Its product categories cover pigs, poultry, ruminants and pets.

Through the deep integration of the internet, big data, artificial intelligence and self-developed cell suspension culture technology, the company's intelligent manufacturing of animal vaccine products are at industry-leading level.

In 2021, the company was recognized as a national intelligent manufacturing demonstration base, as well as a national green factory.
