According to statistics, from January to September, Baogang Group's contracted export volume of steel products reached 990,000 metric tons, while the actual export volume was 900,000 tons.

Baogang Group in Baotou has made strong efforts to contribute to the Belt and Road Initiative. Starting this year, the marketing center of Baogang has upgraded after-sales services and promoted branded products, boosting its popularity among international customers.

To date, 28,000 tons of steel rails exported by the group to Mongolia have been signed for shipment, while large quantities of cold and hot coils were exported to Vietnam, consolidating the popularity of Baogang's products in Southeast Asia.

It is worth mentioning that Baogang continued to export high-quality pipeline steels to Saudi Arabia this year for the construction of hundreds of kilometers of fluid pipelines for a seawater desalination project.

Additionally, the group began to sell high-end cold rolled coils to Japan after long-term customer follow-up. Automobile steel to be exported to Europe has also passed laboratory and industrial tests.

Luo Ke, deputy director of the market development department of the International Trade Branch of the Baogang Marketing Center, said that their products, which are constantly improving, have impressed international users, especially in countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
