The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently announced the list of national industrial internet platform innovation pilot application projects in 2022, with the Bayan mining intelligent mine innovation application in Baotou being the only selected project in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

The city currently has a record number of national-level pilot demonstration projects, ranking among the most in the autonomous region. It has begun work on five new national intelligent manufacturing pilot demonstration projects, three national Internet of Things and industrial internet pilot demonstration projects, and two artificial intelligence lists issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology this year.

Since the beginning of this year, the Baotou bureau of industry and information technology has been stepping up the exploration of industrial digital innovation and development, and has cultivated typical applications with industry and regional characteristics. A total of 106 projects were promoted throughout the year.

Next, Baotou will focus on smart parks, industrial EI and intelligent manufacturing, and joint innovation platform construction, and continue to create a number of new demonstration projects.
