Baotou promotes local hotpot brand

The inaugural "China Hotpot on Grassland" Food Culture Festival was held at the Saikhantal Urban Grassland in Baotou, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on June 10, featuring a large outdoor hotpot feast for thousands of people.

The festival, hosted by the Baotou Catering Association, will run until Aug 25. During this period, it will tour various districts and banners in the city.

At the event, a local resident named Wang Yue said, "The variety of ingredients is particularly rich, and the prices are very reasonable. Living in Baotou is great."

Wang Xi, president of the Baotou Catering Association, explained that "Brands like Little Sheep, Wellamb, and Happy Lamb created in Baotou have made Baotou hotpot famous across China. We hope to use hotpot to spread the high-quality ingredients of Inner Mongolia to food lovers around the nation and the world."

During the event, the top 10 brands and several representative enterprises of "China Hotpot on Grassland" as well as famous dishes and snacks from Baotou were announced.
