In 2023, Baotou, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, announced its commitment to becoming a comprehensive education hub.

In response to residents' demand for quality education, the city's Qingshan district has established the North Heavy No 1 Education Group, which includes the 202 Primary School and the 202 Secondary School.

The education group has rebuilt the playground and teaching buildings of the two schools. Parents of students attending the 202 Secondary School said that their children are grateful to be attending such a wonderful school.
