The bureau is enhancing the services of "technology finance" and provides strong support for key industries. In 2024, the city's balance of science and technology financial loans was 66.27 billion yuan ($9.14 billion), an increase of 5.91 billion yuan from the beginning of the year, with a growth rate of 9.80 percent.

The bureau is deepening reform and innovation in "green finance" to promote green economic development and promoting the rapid development of "digital finance" to improve the quality and efficiency of services, benefiting enterprises and people.

Baotou has fully covered accidental injury insurance for people aged 60 and above, with a premium of 7.78 million yuan and compensation of 7.94 million yuan for 3,842 elderly people.

The bureau promotes precise and efficient docking between banks and enterprises, unblocking financing channels for enterprises and optimizing the business environment. It has supported 276 key enterprises and projects with a total credit line of 14.02 billion yuan and a total investment of 7.79 billion yuan.
