The general aviation industry in Baotou has continued developing by exploring special tourism flight routes and unmanned aerial vehicle delivery and seeding. Baotou Wudangzhao Airport's aviation cultural research base, which integrates "educational research + technology experience + flight exploration", has set up immersive aviation experiences. These include a flight simulation training area, an aircraft visiting area, an aviation lecture hall, and aircraft exhibitions. The airport has received more than 1,000 primary and secondary school students.
