Recently, the Office of Port Affairs of Jiangsu province held a meeting to accept the opening of Meijin Dock. So far, Taicang Port has opened 12 docks and 32 berths.

With a length of 775 meters, Meijin Dock is situated in Taicang Port. It is accompanied by three berths, which allow 5-ton ships to anchor. Upstream, the dock has three berths for 1,000-ton barges, with an annual throughput capacity of 4.15 million tons.

Since the dock was put into trial operation, the Taicang maritime bureau has provided administrative guidance to dock operations, including offering professional suggestions for management systems, discipline, personnel training, and security to ensure Meijin Dock can pass provincial inspection.

The formal opening of Meijin Dock will further improve the functions of Taicang Port.
