By the end of last year, Taicang had attracted more than 1,400 foreign-funded enterprises from 65 nations and regions. A total of 285 foreign-funded enterprises have financing above $10 million.

Taicang’s foreign-funded enterprises association plays an important role in servicing foreign enterprises. It organizes promotion activities and lessons regarding policies and regulations to let enterprises know about the relevant regulations in China. It actively holds trade fairs and theme weeks to help the foreign-funded enterprises expand their markets both at home and abroad. What’s more, it cooperates with the department of commerce to seek financial support for the foreign-funded enterprises.
