The ministries of commerce, publicity, culture, finance, radio & TV, and press recently announced the list of key companies and projects of cultural export 2013-2014. Four companies in Suzhou are on the list and they are: Suzhou Snail Digital Technology (Snail Game), Xingyou Network Technology, Magic Kids, and Shanmao Brothers ACG.

 Since its founding in 2000 as the first 3D online game developer in mainland China, Snail Game has published a series of popular games such as "Voyage Century", "Heroes of Gaia", and "Ministry of War". Its total sales recorded 350 million yuan in 2012, including 4.49 million US dollars from export. For the fourth year in a row, the company has made it to the national list of key exporters of cultural products.
