AmCham Shanghai opens Yangtze River Delta center Suzhou office in SIP

The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its Suzhou office of Yangtze River Delta Center on the afternoon of October 15 in Suzhou Industrial Park.

Founded in 1915, AmCham Shanghai was the third American Chamber established outside the United States. Known as the "Voice of American Business" in China, it is a non-profit, non-partisan business organization committed to the principles of free trade, open market, free enterprise, and the unrestricted flow of information.

The Yangtze River Delta Center founded in May 2012 serves the business interest of the AmCham members in Jiangsu and Zhejiang, and promotes the cooperation and information exchanges and network expansion among the Chamber members, the municipal and provincial Chinese governments, and the U.S. government.

Suzhou Industrial Park is the biggest cooperation project between China and Singapore and, after nineteen years of continuous development, has gathered over 4,800 foreign companies, including 1,000 US businesses.
