The 13th China Opera Festival will be held in Suzhou of Jiangsu province from November 9-25, 2013. People will be able to enjoy 35 operas of 27 varieties at the event.

More than 30,000 opera tickets will be available, with prices ranging from 10-80 yuan ($1.64-$13.12). Migrant workers will get special discounts.

The national opera art festival, held every two years, is organized by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, China Theater Association and the Suzhou government.

During the opening ceremony on November 9 at the Suzhou Culture and Arts Center, selected actors and actresses will be awarded with lifetime achievement awards.
