The first China Art (Suzhou) Round Table Meeting kicked off at Suzhou Art Museum in Suzhou of Jiangsu province on November 5.

The China (Suzhou) Sketch Exhibition also kicked off at the same time.

A total of 116 works, all paintings themed around Suzhou, are on display at the exhibition. Suzhou invited more than 120 famous painters from May last year to go to Changshu, Kunshan, Taicang, Zhangjiagang, Wujiang, the mountains near Dongting Lake, the Suzhou National New & Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Xiangcheng and Suzhou Industrial Park to experience the area’s history and lifestyle.

The exhibition will last until November 12.
