A bite of Zhouzhuang

Shen Wansan, the richest man during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), left Zhouzhuang not only stories about his fortune, but also the delicacies of Wansan pork shank and the Wansan family feast. Tourists traveling in Zhouzhuang can appreciate the beautiful scenery as well as the delicious food.

Breakfast in the water town

Bean curd together with youtiao (deep-fried dough sticks) are the perfect breakfast in the water town. The delicate bean curd is topped with soy sauce, shrimp and mustard and stirred while eaten.
