Small steamed buns

Small steamed buns are beloved by every tourist traveling in Zhouzhuang. They taste sweet in Wuxi and Suzhou, but are salty in Changzhou and Shanghai.

Baojinzhai is a special pastry shop in Zhouzhuang that fully displays the style of the region south of the Yangtze River. Its blue calico headcloths are featured on its walls, table cloths and shop assistants.
