The awards ceremony of the 2013 China (Suzhou) Interior Design Billboard was held in Wuzhong district on November 24. It served as a warm-up event for the third China - Suzhou International Culture & Design Industry Fair. At the same time, the Vision - Space China Design Summit was held, and the preparatory office of Wuzhong Design City -- China Original Design Industrialization Base was established.

The five-month China (Suzhou) Interior Design Billboard received 120 designs from over 60 young designers, two-thirds of which were for home decoration and the rest for commercial space.

According to on-site scores by nearly 1,000 designers, teachers, students, proprietors, experts and professional guests, several works, including Zhang Zhihong’s Shangyuan Garden in Yushan Mountain, won the Top 10 Villa Space Designs of the Year award. Some others, including Jiang Guoxing’s spray design for a boiled fish in chili oil restaurant, won the Top 10 Commercial Space Design of the Year award. Some award-winning designs will be exhibited at the third China - Suzhou International Culture & Design Industry Fair in April, 2014.
