Taiwan New Year’s Goods Fair opens in Suzhou

The 2014 Taiwan New Year’s Goods Fair organized by the Taiwan Trade Center opened in Kunshan of Jiangsu province on November 24.

The fair, seeking to be the largest and longest fair with the most variety of New Year’s goods, will last until January 25, 2014.

Located at No 5 Haixing Road in the Huaqiao Economic Development Zone, the fair pavilion has two stories covering an area of 15,600 square meters.

Visitors will be able to buy goods from Taiwan and taste Taiwan snacks cooked by Taiwan chefs.

The pavilion opens from 10 am to 6 pm.

A manager of the event said hundreds of enterprises have brought more than 4,000 kinds of goods from Taiwan, including food, candy, fruit and seafood.

Promotions such as lotteries and discounts will be offered to customers.
