The Yue Opera Troupe from Shanghai will perform a traditional drama A Dream of Red Mansions in Taicang Theatre on November 30. Yue Opera originated in Shaoxing, Zhejiang province. The two leading roles of Jia Baoyu and Lin Daiyu will be performed by talented actresses.

Xin Yaqin, who plays Lin Daiyu, is a national level two actress and a graduate of the Shanghai Theatre Academy.

Yang Tingna, who plays Jia Baoyu, is also a level two grade actress. Her singing style is bold and sonorous, earning praise from the audience, especially young opera fans.
