An experience activity for rail transit Line 2 took place from December 8 to 15. It ran 866 times without delay in accordance with operation plans. The total volume of passengers was 93,078. A total of 70,600 persons directly took Line 2, and 22,478 persons transferred from Line 1.

The average daily volume of passengers was 13,297. The maximum daily volume of 24,274 persons rode the line on December 15. A total of 18,060 persons directly took Line 2, and 6,214 persons transferred from Line 1. The activity was launched at 9am on December 9. All the 22 stations on the main line were open to the public. Rail transit Line 2 has improved in many aspects such as station facilities, accessible guides and train design. Passengers can transfer directly to Line 1 at South Guangjilu Road Station. In addition, Line 2 has connected the Beijing-Shanghai express railway with the Shanghai-Nanjing intercity transport, and achieved a travel time within 30 minutes with Line 1.

 Rail transit Line 2 started a pilot run on September 21. After three months of adjustments, it is running smoothly. Recently, it was praised for its general operating conditions, passing expert reviews. Preparatory work is nearly complete. It will be ready to open on December 28.
