On December 20, the day following the grand premiere, the producers and the cast of the comedy Personal Tailor talked about the stories behind the scenes at Suzhou Culture & Arts Center.

The comedy opens with 18-second aerial shot of Suzhou Industrial Park, and audience will see most of the familiar landmark buildings and scenes, including the three lakes of Jinji, Dushu, and Yangcheng, Global 188, Gate of the Orient, Dushu Lake Church, and Chongyuan Temple.

"Suzhou is a city full of traditional and modern elements," said Feng Xiaogang, the director. "It produces the best visual effect and I had a good time shooting the film here." It's not unusual that a popular film will bring a place under the spotlight and even promote local tourism, the director believed that this was a way the film crew returned the favors they had during the shooting.

"Personal Tailor"is about Ge You and his friends running a company and taking it as their mission to make rich clients' fantasies come true. In answering the question of what his dream was, Feng said most of his dreams had come true and now he wanted to help others fulfill theirs.

"My biggest dream, though, is that there is no haze someday, the water is clear and the environment is good." The film addresses many issues widely discussed by the public and ends with an apology to nature.
