To celebrate the 575th anniversary of the birth of Feng Menglong, a famous writer and poet in the late Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), an exhibition of images of people appearing in Feng’s work, paintings and calligraphy opened recently in Suzhou of Jiangsu province, where Feng was born.

The Feng Menglong Research Society has published a book of 30 essays about Feng Menglong by experts and scholars from home and abroad.

Famous painters and calligraphers have created more than 80 works for the founding of the Feng Menglong Memorial Museum. The works are also on display at the exhibition.
