The first tourism guidance handbook, The Allure of Suzhou, and its English version were published recently and can be found in major gardens in Suzhou of Jiangsu province.

The books are on sale in the visitor’s center of the Humble Administrator’s Garden, Tiger Hill and the Master-of-Nets Garden. Visitors can read detailed introductions of the gardens in a modern and romantic way.

As the first of its kind, the book shows Suzhou’s specific attractions, scenes and lifestyle. The Chinese version was published in 2011 and revised in 2013. The 2013 version has nearly sold out.
