Three cities jointly release tourist card

To further enhance cooperation between regions and allow more residents and tourists to share the fruits of economic and social development, tourism departments in Changshu, Zhangjiagang and Taicang jointly released a tourist card on Jan 1. The card costs 180 yuan ($29.74) a year and allows holders to visit 38 scenic spots in the three cities, including a national 5A tourist area and five 4A tourist areas. These scenic spots offer tourists the chance to appreciate beautiful scenery, profound culture, primitive ancient towns, classical gardens as well as mysterious religions and modern agriculture. The tourists using this card can visit these scenery spots without limit, encouraging tourists to stay longer and extending the consumption industrial chain.
