China’s first optical and electric cable industry expo will be held in Suzhou at the end of May.

The expo is hosted by the Suzhou Optical and Electric Cable Industry Chamber of Commerce and attracts manufacturer organizations and groups involved in optical cable and fiber, electric wire and cable, optical communication and electric components.

According to Cui Genliang, president of the Suzhou Optical and Electric Cable Industry Chamber of Commerce, Suzhou, as the capital of optical and electric cables in China, has become a major global production base for cable manufacturing. It is also a gathering area for the production of communication optical cables as well as the optical cable industry base of the National Torch Plan.

The expo will promote the international development of Suzhou’s optical cable industry.
