According to the administration of the Science and Education New Town, over 150 companies have registered in the University Science Park. The park has also filed 300 patents and established relationships with 26 universities.

The enterprises have promoted the commercialization of research findings and talent accumulation. As of last November, enterprises in the park have applied for 287 patents, including 204 invention patents, an increase of 277.78 percent from a year earlier. A total of 86 patents have been granted, an increase of 196.55 percent year-on–year. There are now a total of 1,115 copyrights on record. The park has also attracted over 800 staff with bachelor's degrees or above, including more than 30 returned students, over 80 staff with PhDs and over 200 professionals with master's degrees. A total of 38 talents were able to benefit from the talent awarding policies.

Collaboration with universities has also been vigorous. The park established cooperative relations with 26 colleges and universities, such as Fudan University. It also founded eight research centers and five training institutions, achieved the conversion of more than 40 scientific and technological achievements, and introduced 26 graduate enterprise programs.

To better serve enterprises, the University Science Park set up a venture capital firm to realize equity investment for enterprises in the park and hired 10 management supervisors to establish a supervision and feedback system. A "science and technology service supermarket" project was also launched to provide companies with services such as commercial registration, legal advice and taxation consulting.
