According to the Yangtze Estuary Holiday Resort Seminar, Liuhe town in Taicang seeks to promote the Yangtze estuary holiday resort as a driving force for economic development.

Lu Weiqi, secretary of the Party working committee of the Yangtze estuary holiday resort, praised the resort for its achievements. He emphasized that Liuhe town and related departments should cooperate and take advantage of resources to accelerate the development of the holiday resort.

This year, the Yangtze estuary holiday resort will utilize the advantages of its strategic location and rich aquatic resources to improve infrastructure and supporting services, making the resort a new driver for economic development.

The town plans to construct a riverside town, Liuhe ancient town, fisherman's wharf and Yangtze estuary forest park in five years. It also aims to build a top tourist resort in Jiangsu province and upgrade into a national tourist resort in another eight years.
