The construction of a lounge bridge in Sanshi village, an ancient village located in Fuqiao town of Taicang, is half-finished. The project plays a key role in beautiful village construction. The bridge, 40 meters long and 8 meters wide, will provide convenient transportation for village residents.

Beautiful village construction work aims to renovate Sanshi village. The village has invested over 4 million yuan ($659,328) into the renovation project. Before renovations, the village had aging buildings and rough roads. Currently, all the buildings have been repainted, and infrastructure construction has also been completed, including work on a book market, senior service center, table tennis room, teahouse, chess and card room, treatment room and reading room.

The village also plans to enrich its culture to lay out a distinctive Sanshi village. It will seek new development in the farm village to create a happy environment.

Fuqiao town has also invested more than 8 million yuan to improve the infrastructure and ecological environment in residential areas.
