Suzhou’s International Tourism Festival has been successfully held 16 times, and has become a window to display Suzhou’s tourist image and the city’s charm. Every year, the festival attracts more than a million residents and visitors both at home and abroad to join in its colorful activities.

Themed “love in Suzhou and enjoy life”, the 17th Suzhou International Tourism Festival will be held from April to June, 2014. It aims to make the festival a gala in Suzhou and highlight hot tourist spots through promoting Suzhou’s spring tour and water tour.

During the festival, it will hold a series of activities including a boat parade, the First Suzhou International Tourism Exposition, Xiangmen cultural night fair, a presentation fair for Suzhou tourist routes and a photography competition.
