The 2014 IAAF World Race Walking Cup Committee said a volunteer micro blog “Jincangwa” was opened on sina.com.

The micro blog is named after the mascot Jincangwa, for its vivacious character, and also represents its volunteer spirit. Jincangwa is expected to set a good example for volunteers who will show their energy and hospitality through highlights on the micro blog.

Several special programs will be launched on the micro blog, such as the latest news about volunteer works, information about race walking, volunteers’ experience and speeches, best volunteer selections and tips about the weather and matches.

The “best volunteer selections” segment encourages athletes, spectators and volunteers to record highlights of volunteers at work and @Jincangwa. Following the votes, the top 10 will be awarded “best volunteer” prizes, and the first person to upload a picture of them can win a souvenir.
