More than 10,000 Chinese roses are in full bloom in the Chinese rose garden in Taicang Modern Agriculture Park. The colorful flowers and sweet scent have attracted endless streams of visitors from Taicang and neighboring cities.

The garden has planted over 200 species of Chinese roses with an area of 200 mu (13.33 hectares). The flowers began to blossom one after another since late April, and now is the best time to appreciate Chinese roses.

With florescence-control techniques, the flowers are expected to fully bloom during the National Day holiday (Oct 1 to Oct 7). The florescence will run through the end of November. Chinese roses are beautiful and easy to grow, luring many tourists from Taicang and Shanghai to enjoy and buy the flowers.
