The 2014 Taicang Internet Culture Festival opened at the Taicang Urban Planning Exhibition Hall on June 6. On the same day, the exhibition hall launched a website that provides a 3D virtual exhibition hall and allows citizens to view the hall at home.

The Internet Culture Festival aims to boost the development of the Internet culture industry and promote a healthy and positive cyber culture. It has been held for three years since 2012.

This year's festival, themed "Work Together to Promote a Civilized Internet Culture," features various activities, extensive participation and enhanced interaction.

The event will last six months and consists of 10 activities, such as the launch of an online exhibition hall, an Internet novel contest and a selection of the most beautiful volunteers.
