A new book bar opened in Liuhe town of Taicang on June 6. Different from traditional bookstores, the two-floor book bar is unique and offers free reading. The second floor provides a leisure place for readers to relax, drink a cup of tea or coffee and chat with friends. The main attraction for the bar is that it can help readers send postcards to their relatives, friends and even themselves in the future.

The book bar is just one of Liuhe's efforts to strengthen cultural construction. The town plans to integrate culture, business and tourism to promote cultural tourism. It will make the protection of cultural relics a priority to create distinctive tourism products highlighting culture. In addition, various art museums and memorial museums will be built to make Liuhe a more modernized and stronger cultural center.
