A dragon boat race took place on Taicang's Jincang Lake on June 10. The race was held as part of the Suzhou Citizens Sports Meeting, which runs from June to October.

A total of 27 teams from all walks of life took part in the event, attracting a large number of citizens to watch and cheer for the participants.

The Jincang Lake dragon boat competition has been held annually since 2010. It is one of Taicang's top folk activities to promote traditional folk customs and enrich people's cultural life.
