Taicang plans to construct a Chinese traditional medicine museum this year. It is trying to collect information related to Chinese medicine from the public.

Last year, a research society for Chinese traditional medicine was founded in Taicang. As an academic and non-profit social organization, the group has been focusing on preserving and transmitting traditional medicine culture.

The organization is now planning to build a Chinese traditional medicine museum in Shaxi town, which is expected to open this October. The museum aims to further boost the development of the city's traditional medicine culture.
