Locals and visitors alike are spending a day at the Chengbeihe Wetland Park in Taicang to see more than 100 of its lotus flowers in full bloom.

After a four-year construction process, the park now includes a new square, pavilions, clean rivers, lotus ponds, cycling paths, green forests and play spaces for children. In addition to becoming a popular place for leisure, it has improved the city's environment overall.
