Lotus flowers are in bloom at the fourth lotus exhibition in South Garden, Taicang city. More than 800 different lotus flowers are on display during the exhibition that opened on June 28.

On the first day of the exhibition, summer tourism products were launched, highlighting fruit-picking, leisure and outdoor sports. One-day and two-day tours combining different themes are the main focus of Taicang's summer tourism.

Fruit-picking spots, such as Donglin village and Heqiao village, offer tourists a fascinating countryside landscape and allow them to experience rural life by picking vegetables and fruits.

Some cool resorts such as South Garden and Jincang Lake have always been the most popular choice for summer tours. The areas boast green trees, beautiful flowers and clean lakes, providing visitors a chance to escape the summer heat.

The Beijixing Cross-Country Race Base and Happy Island have also launched various outdoor sports activities to provide more choices for tourists.
