Watching movies is a popular entertainment choice for many people. But deaf people have difficulty watching films. On Aug 24, the Taicang Disabled Persons Federation organized a free 3D movie watching activity in the city's Nanyang Cinema, inviting 100 deaf people and volunteers to experience the charm of 3D films.

The movie Minuscule—Valley of the Lost Ants delivers excellent 3D visual effects without any dialogue, which is suitable for the deaf. For many deaf people, it was their first time watching a movie and enjoying 3D effects in a modern cinema. The activity was expected to bring them happiness.

The federation has reached an agreement with Nanyang Cinema to continue to provide free movies for the deaf.
