Third entrepreneurs high-level forum opens in Taicang

The 2014 third entrepreneurs high-level forum took place at Taicang's Industrial Exhibition Hall in Jiangsu province on Aug 27, to help local enterprises better cope with emergencies and management crisis ever since the complex global economic situation has brought new challenges to domestic enterprises.

Ai Xuejiao, EMBA professor of Beijing University and Peking University, as well as a consultant for big commercial banks, was invited to give a lecture on enterprise crisis management.

His speech focused on the importance of crisis management and ways to deal with crises. Through case analyses of Guomei and Suning (two giant electronics appliance retailers in China) and Wanda (a conglomerate with businesses including commercial property, high-end hotels, cultural tourism and shopping malls), Ai offered some suggestions to enterprises, including business model innovation.
