Taiwan pop singer Chris Yu (known as You Hongming in Mandarin) held a concert in Taicang's Theater, Jiangsu province, on Sept 14.

Dubbed as the "Prince of Love Songs", Yu wowed audiences with his magnetic voice and sentimental love songs. The classic songs helped audiences evoke old memories.

At the concert, Yu studied the Taicang dialect from his fans, which won him endless applause. During an interview ahead of the concert, he said that it was the fourth time for him to come to Taicang, and each visit impressed him with different features of the city. "Taicang is a historical and cultural city with an ecological environment," he added.

Chris Yu also expressed his wish to participate more in charity activities to help people in need.
