Dairy for Straight, the first web comedy series in the country, will soon finish its shooting in Taicang, Jiangsu province.

The 100-episode series consists of five parts and has over half its length shot in Taicang, including the Rose Manor and Shaxi town. The first 20 episodes will be available on the video site Youku at the end of October.

Li Gege, the producer of the series, said she was fascinated by the Rose Manor, a rural refuge from the bustling city. The manor's grass lawn, garden, guestrooms, passageways, elevators and many other places with different features provided various scenes for the series' shooting. In addition, the strong support from the city's other areas helped the shooting proceed smoothly. The following winter scene is expected to be shot in Taicang.

Dairy for Straight tells the funny stories of boys and girls, with each episode lasting eight minutes. The majority of participants, including the screenwriter, director, actors and actresses, are post-90s who are active and innovative and bring more vigor and fun to the series.
