Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli and Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean will co-chair a series of meetings on bilateral cooperation on Oct. 27 in Suzhou City, eastern China.

Invited by Zhang, Teo will visit China from Oct. 26 to 28, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying told a daily press briefing on Wednesday.

The meetings are the 11th meeting of China-Singapore Joint Council for Bilateral Cooperation, the 16th China-Singapore Joint Steering Council Meeting for the Suzhou Industrial Park, and the seventh China-Singapore Joint Steering Council Meeting for the Tianjin Eco-city, according to Hua.

As the two flagship cooperation projects between the two governments, the Suzhou Industrial Park and the Tianjin Eco-City have achieved remarkable results in high-tech industries and sustainable development in recent years.
