Travelers coming to the city of Suzhou, Jiangsu province, can now rent a car to drive around and return it to any of 30 rental stations in the city, the city Tourism Bureau reports, explaining that daily rentals start as low as 50 yuan ($8) in a special offer good for two days up to Feb 12, 2015.

The tourist package includes insurance and applies to a Buick Excelle or KIA K2, to allow tourists to plan a trip by themselves or explore scenic spots away from Suzhou, for example Zhouzhuang, a traditional old town 30 km away, or Shajiabang, a resort famous for classic Beijing Opera near the city of Taicang.

Anyone wanted to take advantage of the package deals will need to register with a mobile phone, pay for the service online -- at http://js.qq.com/zt2014/qijiasuzhou/index.htm -- then go to any of the 30 rental outlets to pick up the car and enjoy some discounts that come with the deal.
