Qian Yuqing gives calligraphy exhibition in France

Qian Yuqing, a young calligrapher from Suzhou, Jiangsu province, held an exhibition in Paris, with over 20 works in different styles and formats, to celebrate five decades of Sino-French diplomatic ties, with help from the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, CCTV Documentary Group, France Association for Euro-China Friendship, and Suzhou Tianjingge Art.

Qian is a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association as its only calligrapher, a professor at the association's training center, vice-chairman of the Suzhou Industrial Park’s Art & Literature Federation, and chairman of the SIP Calligraphy Association. He‘s won many national awards over the past five years and is one of Chinese Art Report Magazine’s "Top 30 Calligraphers with Academic Value and Market Potential in 2014" .
