More Suzhou Metro services for holiday travelers

The city of Suzhou, Jiangsu province, will change its service hours and train intervals on Metro Lines 1 and 2 to meet the increased demand during the New Year's Day holiday, Jan 1 to 3.

The holiday timetable calls for the first trains on Lines 1 and Line 2 to leave the terminals simultaneously at 6:10 am, with the last trains on Line 1 to leave the terminals at 10:45 pm and 10:30 pm, and the last on Line 2 to leave at 10:30 pm.

And, the intervals between the Line 1 trains will be shortened to 5 minutes from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, and intervals on Line 2 trains will be shortened to 6 min 30 sec for the holiday.

From Jan 5, rush-hour train intervals will be shortened to 6 min 25 sec on Line 1 and 7 min 30sec on Line 2 daily.
