China's loftiest garden will appear on the top of the 301-meter-high Gate of the Orient in the city of Suzhou, Jiangsu province.

Small as it is, the garden will have all the elements of a typical Suzhou garden; pavilions, halls, pools, terraces and rockery formations. According to the contractor of the construction project it will be a total of 3,400 square meters. It will cost 8 million yuan ($1.29 million) and around six months to finish the whole project.

Zhang Xiping, a master craftsman of Xiangshan-style garden construction, which is on the UNESTCO list of world cultural heritages, will be in charge of the project.
