Taicang in East China's Jiangsu province held an art performance to mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China on July 1.

The performance, divided into three parts, depicted how Taicang natives, under the leadership of the CPC, carried out the revolution and reform over the past 100 years.

Senior Party members and distinguished entrepreneurs were invited to share their stories about the Party and the city.
