Taicang in East China's Jiangsu province has been making efforts to optimize its business climate and attract more talents.

The city is now home to 221,300 skilled workers and 22,000 high-level skilled workers, according to local authorities.

Taicang has been working to provide efficient and tailor-made services for companies that have intentions to invest in it.

Among the beneficiaries of these efforts is Suzhou Youshida Intelligence Technology Co, which required only a month and a half to complete all the necessary steps to begin operations in the city.

In March, Ye Gang, the founder of Suzhou Youshida Intelligence Technology Co, and his team won the first-class award at the city's innovation competition for transportation vehicles.

"I am deeply impressed by the 'Taicang speed' — it only took us only a month and a half to commence our project in the city," said Ye.

This year, Taicang attracted 15 winners of the "Suzhou Leading Talents for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award" and 13 talents who won provincial recognition for their innovation and entrepreneurship efforts.
