Taicang seeks aviation cooperation at CIIE sideline event

Jiangsu's Taicang attended the 4th International Aviation Supply Chain Leadership Summit, a key sideline event of the 4th China International Import Expo, on Nov 8.

In front of over 400 representatives from the global aviation industry, Taicang, Hangzhou, Shanghai, and the summit signed the Gulf Agency Company Hub project, which will serve over 6,400 companies in 19 countries.

Taicang representatives also met with their counterparts from Boeing, Airbus, Safran,  and ST Engineering to introduce the city's aviation industry.

Taicang has so far this year signed 46 aviation and aerospace projects valued at 16.32 billion yuan ($2.55 billion). Industry leaders Moog and Schaeffler both have investments in the city.

According to local authorities, the city's aviation industry is expected to generate an output of 50 billion yuan by 2025.
