Suzhou Sniper Technology Co will invest about 300 million yuan ($47.07 million) to build two production bases in Taicang Biology Bay in Taicang, Jiangsu province, local media reported on Dec 3.

One base will manufacture self-developed polymerase chain reaction devices while the other will be focused on the production of consumable medical supplies.

Suzhou Sniper Technology Co is known as the first Chinese company to independently develop a polymerase chain reaction device. Its Taicang bases were negotiated in September, signed in October, and registered in November.
